Hajo's Incomplete Book of Magic
The first 5 pages of my book about magic by syllables, elements and shapes.
While this is original work, it is inspired by the magic system that was used in the old Dungeon Master game and later magic systems like the runewords from Diablo 2/LoD.
The symbols and syllables used in this document are all new, at least to my knowledge, so they should not violate any copyright from the old games. The mechanic to assemble symbols or syllables in a sequence to form a magic word or spell should be generic enough to be freely usable.
The .xcf files have the double resolution of the .png files and contain all text as editable text objects. The font is not embedded though and you need to get it separately from here:

At the time when I made this document, the font license was given as "Public domain, GPL, OFL" and the author is "Astigmatic One Eye Typographic Institute"
PS: I found a fragment of page 6 and added that, but I'm sorry to say that the following pages all burned up due to a fire spell accident while practising.

Nice design, thanks for sharing.
Thanks! I hope it will be useful, at least inspirational :)
