I really like that this has a Tamagotchi kind of feel to it.
Cool! This is simple enough it could be on a keychain or watch device (old-style, I know new watches are into full color graphics). Items to feed him or entertain him and resulting icons would be too. Or maybe a twist like educational or moral instructions.
could you change the tags so it doesn't have the # in front of them? it makes searching for this a pain otherwise...
