Texture from only one photo will be four times less detailed.

Mine are pretty much the same size of pattern, but with 2048x2048 resolution, but I scale them down to 1024x1024 for ingame use. So I would not say they are less detailed.

Your pattern is clean, but I would not make it so sharp and also try to avoid shadows, the detail comes from the normal map.
