This is a Blender 2.8 low-poly model of a gear-themed metal door. The concept is that activating the lever will cause it to rotate to one side, with the inner gear counter-rotating at a different rate to simulate an internal mechanism. The model has 710 quad faces with 2048 x 2048 texture maps. The textures are from a CC0 source, then modified. I haven't animated this version of the model.

This reminds me of fallout. Was it inspired by it?

"This reminds me of fallout."

It wasn't specifically inspired by Fallout, although stylistically I suppose it resembles a simplified fallout shelter outer door. I remember a similar door in ST:DS9. What I wanted to model is a mechanical style door for a Mechanus setting, which suggested a gear theme. Thanks.
