Woodwinds with arpeggiated string accompaniment

forest-river-b.mp3 is an alternative mix with quieter horns.

forest-river-c.mp3 has the same changes as B but modifies the stereo image of pizzicato strings track for better sound on mono devices.

Interesting tune.  Out of curiosity, what audio software did you use to make this?  Any VSTs or Soundfonts used?

Thank you. I used the Xpand2! VST for all the sounds and wrote and sequenced the song in REAPER. I adjusted the stereo image on some parts with REAPER’s built-in Stereo Field Manipulator track FX. The samples may sound as if additional MIDI expression was applied, but apart from velocity, they play exactly as they do by default in Xpand2!
