These are chess pieces colored according to the colors of Sovereign Chess. I'm a programmer, not an artist, but sometimes I do my own work if it's simple, like this. I was kind of feeling like making a version of Sovereign Chess, so I started on the art. I have a backlog of projects, and it might be a while before I get to finishing it, so I'm releasing it in case someone else wants to take a shot.

The chess pieces I started with were black and white, and public domain, so I'm releasing them back into the public domain. Each sprite is 128x128, and they have been positioned perfectly, so they should not be hard to pull apart.

Enjoy.

Brian,

I would be interested in hearing more about your project to make a version of Sovereign Chess, and see if I could offer any help.

Please feel free to contact me at mark@sovereignchess.com

Sincerely,
