Cartoon Dinosaur Platformer Characters
These are the character sprites I used in the Rynosaur Land Prototype, part of my OGA Late Fall Game Jam 2021 Entry, Kouryaku Collection.
There are six named characters in this sprite sheet.
Rynosaur is derivative of the dragon sprite from Twin Dragons by surt / CC-BY 3.0 and the monkey hero sprite from Monkey Lad in Magical Planet by surt / CC0
Tortuka is derivative of the turtle sprite from Twin Dragons by surt / CC-BY 3.0
Rexnuts is derivative of the body of the hero sprite from Classic hero and baddies pack by GrafxKid / CC0 and the head of the alligator sprite from Crazy Critters by GrafxKid / CC0
Pterror is derivative of the bird sprite from Monkey Lad in Magical Planet by surt / CC0 and the head of Pterosaur Baby 1 by xing qiu / CC0
Goober is derivative of the body of the alligator sprite from Crazy Critters by GrafxKid / CC0 and the head of Anklyosaurus Baby 1 by xing qiu / CC0
Horntopper is derivative of the body of the pink walking ball with the antenna on his head sprite from Various Creatures by GrafxKid / CC0 and the head of Triceratops Baby 3 by xing qiu / CC0
Font used for the character names is C-64 by Jamie Cross / CC0
Palette is NES Advanced by Space Sandwich.
playersprites_revision.png - contains a new player character, Spikette. Player sprites in the revision are slightly taller than the older version, and stray pixels have been destroyed.
enemysprites_revision.png - stray pixels have been destroyed, and contains some color variations of enemy sprites.

i just noticed that OpenClipArt.org (a few cc0 images i used came from there) is down. probably another ddos attack like what happened there before. so i'm linking here some mirrors from publicdomainvectors.org that are the same images i used.
