I, the copyright holder of this work, release this work into the public domain. This applies worldwide.
In some countries this may not be legally possible; if so:
I grant anyone the right to use this work for any purpose, without any conditions, unless such conditions are required by law.

doesn't equal any versions of CC0.

This is quite nice. It's a pure vocal, so I see some room for improvement by composing an appropriate backing instrumental.

@hashcash:

I don't understand your objection. Creative Commons Zero is intended to be a public domain grant, with a fallback for maximum liberality in the very few countries where no equivalent of public domain exists.

This work was donated to the public domain, according to Wikimedia. In effect, that removes every copyright restriction by granting every related sub-right to all members of the public. This includes the sub-rights of re-licensing and sub-licensing. So even to the extent that CC0 does not exactly match PD, that still is no barrier to someone taking a public domain work and licensing it as CC0 to others.

I could see a problem if someone was being dishonest (for instance, licensing public domain stuff under a restrictive license), but that doesn't apply here.

@kagerato

No longer any objection since Magdalen Kadel is the same person who made the upload on Wikimedia and here. It says Magdalen Kadel here and it says the same on Wikimedia at https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Breves_dies_hominis.ogg so no longer any objection.
