This is a Blender model of a wooden birthing chair, which is styled after those long used by midwives in pre-industrial Europe. This furnishing allowed the pregnant mother to give birth with the assistance of body positioning and gravity. A bed of leaves was usually placed underneath to help catch the newborn infant.

This model includes both higher and lower polycount versions, with 1,444 and 782 quad faces, respectively. The base texture is CC0 from this site, then modified in GIMP.
