If it's CC0 "free" then you only need to select the CC0 licence requirement, CC-BY-3.0 & CC-BY-4.0 both require attribution / crediting and have limitations.  Folks maybe put using this if the licensing isn't clear / confusing.

True, but keep in mind also that selecting multiple licenses is permitted, even if it is redundant: https://opengameart.org/content/faq#q-multilicense
