There's some unfinished stuff rotting slowly on my PC. So I thought, I'll throw them together on an inconveniently full sheet - maybe someone might see a sprite and think "I wanna build on that!" Or not. I don't know :)

The small sprites below with the 2 mugshots were fire emblem inspired - the rest is pretty random :D
I was trying stuff like "I wanna make Metroidvania-ish graphics" or "character for a farm game", "a flexible way to build homes" etc.
Were any of the fire emblem graphics used to make them. Like using the basic shape or silhouette from fire emblem sprites?
Nah, I don't do that :)
I just made a sprite without outline but only colour and shading. Then I make the outline black and outside.
That's something other games do too (like crypt of the necrodancer for example), I just went for a 16x16 sprite size because that matched the resolution for the game I was working on. That's kinda how it happend.

That twig girl is seriously good. Could be a new character made for a Flintstones SNES game with a more chibi-leaning art style.
I love the tiny ghost as well. He deserves to be in some roguelike tilesets.

About the ghost: I realized I have more graphics of that ghost - no idea why they are not on the art dump, I must have forgotten. They are larger, because those graphics were made for a fire emblem style game (for the attack). But I have more stuff on my pc, I guess I'll do another art dump soon and throw those in there as well.
