3d format

Most if not all models here are in blender format so I hope you can give me some hints: I'm working with a game engine that imports models in Collada format. I ported my models using Softimage ModTool with very good results.

What's the best way to convert a blender model into the Collada format? I had some problems with normals and lost faces in my previous approaches.

We'll look into this and get back to you.  I'm not a huge 3D guy myself, but there are people I can ask who may be able to help.

There's a plugin for it, although it looks like it hasn't been updated since 2007.

Blender 2.49b supports Collada out-of-the-box.

And for static meshes obj format is also good.
