2D Planet Pack 1
A collection of 96 FREE 2D Planets with 17 different Terrain Types! Every planet has been rendered at both 512px and 256px with transparent or white backgrounds, no aliasing, and minimal lighting so they can be lit from any direction. Each surface was procedurally generated and mapped to a true sphere, then rendered at multiple sizes for ease of use and scaling down. Each planet also has 5 variations to choose from! I actually do have the surface textures laying around still, I can probably throw those together into another collection :)
I would love that. It'll allow me to animate these planets rotating on any arbitrary axis in-game. :)
Texture pack has been added :) They are all 512x512 rather than rectangular, but I can do another pack of planet textures with wider dimensions if those would be more useful!
