Nice!
That would be awesome in FLARE!
I actually make these for a similar project and will post something bigger about this soon, what my ideas and goals are. Currently I work on some more or less decorative props, the bigger ones are not yet finished.
Waterfalls?
I am looking around for isometric waterfalls for a Flare game project and I could not find any around. Do you think you could take a shot at making some waterfalls? You would most likely knock it out of the park for you have a tremendous amount of skill and talent.
Success would even be waterfalls that can be overlaid over other tilesites. Or the waterfalls are compatible with https://opengameart.org/content/grassland-tileset and https://opengameart.org/content/isometric-snow-tileset-flare .
Free flowing unfrozen (regular) waterfalls are all that I am hoping to find. Although frozen waterfalls or even waterfalls with rocks and chucks of ice falling down or other interesting bits would complete the set. Such new and compatible isometric waterfall tiles would add the huge missing pieces to making wonderful waterfalls.
I am not sure if you want commissions for work or if there are other people who already have waterfalls for this kind of request. Although I can pay with paypal if desired. The starting area to my RPG project with Flare has a lot of waterfalls and water based themes around it. Waterfalls being missing from the tilesets is currently kind of a huge missing piece of the puzzle. I would like to figure out how to add these missing pieces of the puzzle back into the tileset. Although I believe that I must seek talented people like yourself to succeed in this endeavour.
What are your thoughts on a waterfall project? If you want to discuss in more detail on this matter I would be happy to oblige. I can be found here and or on Discord (with the rest of my video game developer friends) by the name of: Matthew#3194
I have not had a plan for waterfalls until now, but I could do some in the future.
Currently I am really busy with some other things. I just finished these big tents and I still have to finish some more...
That looks really cool. Are these for barbarians / ~orcs? Any campfires with bones in them XD? I like the modest / realistic amount of bones on the art. Sleeping mats / bags made from hides / fur in the works? These give the hunter gatherer feeling. There could be a pile of bones from hunts and meat drying stands and racks for working the hides into leather? Much like the north american first nations and the nomadic people of the barrens and steppes of asia: http://savagesandscoundrels.org/places/1867-treaty-of-medicine-lodge-creek/ + https://factsanddetails.com/asian/cat65/sub422/entry-5237.html
I had goblins in my mind, but orc / barbarians work too.
Also gonna finish the last things soon, including some smaller tents and campfires.
Great work, as always.
Hello! I don’t have experience with the software, so I’d appreciate it if you could share a link for the cliff png textures. Thanks!
