uploading music not necessarily for games?

hi!

i'm a musician who is interested in open source projects, and i recently discovered this site. i want to upload some of my cc-by licensed music here, but i'm not sure if that's allowed, since they were not necessarily made for use in games. basically, the "art that wouldn't be useful in a game" clause in the faq is causing me trouble

granted, you can still use my music in games, but i make music just for the sake of it and not for use in any specific types of projects

should i upload my stuff here? feel free to ask me to clarify what i'm saying if you need to

you can check out my existing music here: https://soundcloud.com/autumncheney

It is allowed and encouraged. The reason is because, although your music wasn't made for games, it would still be useful in a game.

The phrase 'not useful in a game' is referring to is stuff like 30 second samples that cut off abruptly, or music with an audio watermark. None of that can be used in a game because the players would be like "WTF?" :)

I think any music is appreciated here. I am currently looking for music for a project other than a game, so I would definitely be interested in seeing the stuff you make!
