Preview:

This is "Mug Stage" - sewer level music for a platformer or action/RPG.

The tune was originally written to go beside a level mock-up made a few months ago, for a mug-based "sewer" or "factory" stage.  The project never went beyond mock-up, so feel free to use!

Please let me know if you use this for anything.

Not bad. :)

FYI, tags like "music", "game music", "audio", "level music" is redundant and doesn't actually help people find your art. This is already in the music category, which is obviously audio for games. redundant tags are routinely removed.

Hi! Just FYI, I used this track as the title theme for Word Dug, my entry into the OpenGameArt Summer 2020 Game Jam.
I also used MidBoss, Pound the Stage and Vulnerability for the game over, credits and boss themes respectively.

You can check out the game for free at:

as well as the rest of the Jam entries at:

Thanks so much for sharing, they are all really great tracks!

Thanks! Makes me think I should upload some of the tunes I've made in the years since, considering I've gotten much better! You don't really need to credit me on this, I must have been nuts.

please do! i love old 8-bit retro chiptune music; i've been interested lately in making a full game sized mod from just one retro music artist so it fits thematically
