This looks awesome. Makes me think of one of my favorite games ever a bit, BattleToads.

Will hopefully use a work based on it for a free open source remake of the game I'm designing, called BattleGum (featuring Gumble from Ancient Beast game as main character).

Nice, I am going to create a beekeep for an retro rpg wich I am working on right now, so I can make good use of those honey pots. Thanks for sharing. =)
