Please paste the contents of what you were trying to post into a google doc, then PM me a link. I believe I can figure out why it is doing that.

Link received. Thanks.

Typically that error is caused by an unusual character in the text. (microsoft word likes to replace " with a fancy version " that can break the drupal text interpreter, for example) however, since you sent me the html of the submission, I was able to submit the whole thing with proper formatting and everything. No errors. Not sure what is causing it but the html in that document, when I paste it into OGA's HTML source editor, it saves fine. This is the html of the forum post that did NOT work?

If you were to go to the forum, click new topic, click the Edit HTML Source button, paste in the contents you sent me, and clicked Save, it gives you the same 500 error?

I can definitely understand the frustration, but I can't seem to duplicate the issue at all. Any additional information you can give me would be helpful for resolving this problem so you don't have to go through this any more. You say you eventually got it to work. Can you provide a link to the forum topic that you eventually got to post? Or is the contents of that google-doc the text that eventually worked and not the text that did NOT work?

If I can figure out why it didn't work, I can make sure you and others don't have to repeatedly try different things one piece at a time.

This is the topic that I eventually got to work, I just renamed it. That is the HTML for the whole thing that I wanted to post, but I then tried Saving line by line, but it would still fail some times with just one line.

Stay a while and listen.

So the text in the document was the text that did not work?

Does it still not work? Does it give you the same error when pasting that text into the HTML source editor?

Just to note, if anyone else gets this, then PM an admin. There seems to be some permission shenannigans going on.

Stay a while and listen.

  1. check for pasted characters that DO NOT come from your keyboard (EM dashes, curved quotation marks, etc.)
  2. check for formatting that may not be compatible with the site's text box. (it's a fairly simple text box, not a publishing app. sorry)
  3. If that doesn't resolve it, copy what you're trying to post and paste it on https://justpaste.it/ and PM me a link to it. We'll get it fixed. :)

Thank you. This is the link of my post.

I write it on WPS ( instead Microsoft Office) first, and copy/past it to the forum. May be it is because WPS????

Yeah, word processors are definitely a major culprit. My guess is the problem is being caused by the ellipsis in your last paragraph.

2/ Some strange question: How much we have to pay for the artist to make[...] <- this character cannot be typed by your keyboard gameplay menu. Look like this ( menu bar, text and icon. Not include Character['] <- same with this curved quote avatar and Character[']s <- and this one cards).

So, how to know which character cannot be typed by my keyboard??? How can I know what i have to change in my writting?

Now, I almost have to write everything in the forum, instead write in the word file and copy/past it to the forum.

Thank you.

Well, since your word processor is the one changing the characters you type, I have to advise simply typing on the forum instead of copying from the word processor.

Try copy and paste to notepad, then copy notepad and paste to forum. i often find this works better, without any issues. ;)

<>,.@!"£$%^&*()_+=|\/?';:

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz1234567890

ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ  123456789

typed this using notepad and pasted here.
