Here is a small "mini knight" set for a simple platformer/beat'em up.

The knight dude was originally made for a PixelJoint 16*16 sprite challenge, if interested you can see the walking animation here.

So theoretically the size of the knight is about 16*16, but some frames, such as the dying animation, go over this size. Also notice that the sprite boxes are 32*32; this is because at first I planned to do some bigger enemies too, but then got lazy and made just that one orc. :)
