Star-Shift

Psychronic
Saturday, August 4, 2018 - 18:58

Psychronic Game Studios is a new company dedicated to making games that are fun to play. Our games are created by gamers for gamers. In the past, in order to get a game to the market, one had to have an entire supply chain of companies who could make the discs, get it to various retailers and still have money left over to develop new games and pay staff. In more recent times, because of platforms like Steam which allow for digital distribution of games, independent game companies have exploded on the world stage and hence different and more innovative games have become available as a possibility. It has taken a number of years for this to happen as developers wake up to the reality of what's now possible on a shoestring budget. Our first project is expected to be released in July of 2019. Star Shift is Psychronic's first project and has been in development for over a year. It is a classic sci-fi RPG set in the 24th century with many branching story arcs. It is built using the RPG Maker MV engine but with many additional enhancements. Here is a teaser of the opening scene of the game.

Video doesn't seem to be embedding properly so here's the link:

The main plan is to get this game released, and from the sales put that energy and focus into the next game and keep improving. It's going to be an exciting year and hope you'll continue to support us!

You gotta use the "embed video" feature near the bottom of the edit tab. Embedding video through html doesn't show anything.
