This set was part of a test that I did to see what it would look like if I created handpainted models using classic paintings. The textures come from Paintings that were done by John Williams Waterhouse in the 1880s. (The paintings used are in the public domain.)
The level in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jvYjF8v19-E was made entirely using the models in this kit. (Skydome and Character in the video are free UE4 assets that are not included in the file).
This is a modular set of 18 different meshes all sharing the same 1024x2048 texture. It is meant to be used as building blocks for a level. The models are low poly and were made with optimization for lower end mobile devices in mind.
Included in the zip file there are:
- Arches
- Supports
- Buttresses
- stairs
- Walls
- Pillars
- Columns
- and.... the raw files from creation of the assets

Very interesting idea.
It's a really interesting idea... to use old paintings in the public domain as textures for 3D models.
