Lost in Time (due April 28th)
A new art challenge draws near! Command? Participate, obviously. This one's theme is:
Lost In Time
Time machines, time travel, dinosaurs, mysterious islands seemingly cut off from the rest of the timestream where the bizarre happens every day. Or just something out of history. An alternate history, perhaps. One where semiconductors were never discovered and everything runs on steam and vaccuum tubes.
Be it literal or figurative, anything lost in time that might work in a game. Textures, music, 3D models, sound effects, anything.
The submission with the most favorites by close-of-vote wins! Submit your entries starting Sunday, April 15th, 2018. Have all your entries submitted by Saturday, April 28th, 2018. Voting closes one week after that on Saturday, May the 4th. That's two weeks to submit and (at least) 1 week to vote. Voters: You can 'favorite' as soon as you see a submission you like, but submitters: Don't submit before April 15th!
Be sure to tag your submissions with both a "Challenge" and "Lost in Time" tag. Also, post a link to your submission in this thread as well.
EDIT: Check out all the entries so far: Challenge, Lost in Time <-- Authors: If your submissions don't show up at these links, your tags need fixing. However, these need not be the ONLY tags on your submission. Feel free to tag them with any other words that describe your art.
I've never participated in a weekly challenge. Authors are allowed to submit multiple entries?
Of course! :)

Ayy! Another art contest, awesome. Glad to see these starting back up :)
wow... didn't expect to have my idea voted on... guess I got some work to do. :D
Let's goooo :D
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just need some art for my game ^^
I hope I have time to work on something for it. :)
Oh boy, finally time to polish off my LPC colonial, victorian, and steampunk assets :-) Definitely hope to make multiple submissions!
I am so bummed! Probably not going to have time to participate in this challenge :'(.
I'll try to participate with some music!
Pretty difficult theme, gonna have to stretch my brains for this one.
Here's an entry I quickly made. It supposed to be similar to the sound effect in Life is Strange when the character is reversing time. https://opengameart.org/content/reversing-time-stuck-in-time

I made these for the challenge about 3-4 days ago
https://opengameart.org/content/future-robot
https://opengameart.org/content/overgrown-future-robot
the idea for the first one was a robot from the future sent to the past.
the second is the same robot stuck in the past and left to grow over as time passes by. hope you guys like it
I made this one I guess:

Snuck one in at the last minute... https://opengameart.org/content/lpc-colonial-buildings
Sorry, I really was just too occupied between working on Stendhal & taking care of kids this weekend. I hope it won't be too long before a new challenge. :)
Who are the judges?
I'm pretty sure it's whoever gets the most favourites.

Everyone. You vote by "Favorite"-ing the submissions. The one with the most favorites by
April 15thMay 4th, wins.--Medicine Storm
Oh, Intersesting. I thought there were official judges like in the LPC contest. So when is the cutoff date to determine the "winner"?
Oh, thanks Medicine. I was writing my question when you answered. :)
MedicineStorm, do you mean May 15?
Edit: I see that you edited your post. May 4th is the cutoff. :)
Wow, this one was close! Well done, everyone!
Congratulations to bluecarrot16: https://opengameart.org/content/lpc-colonial-buildings
Thanks to all who participated. Trophies have been awarded!

Congrats bluecarrot16. :)
I missed this challenge, unfortunately, because real life hit me in the face with some challenges. But congrats to the winner though! Mine was going to be a sort of hourglass. I may still draw it up when I can find the time.
Update: Might I be so bold as to offer an idea for the next challenge a little early? How about a Summer theme, since Summer is just around the corner?
Wow, I can't believe I missed this entite contest! I literally had no idea it was going on until today. I really got to learn to scroll down a bit when viewing the main page!
anyway, lots of awesome submissions, great work everyone!
