Board Game Work
Hello! I’m in need of a vector artist or someone who can match my current art style. I already have a large number of the final assets but I will still need quite a few (asset list below). The assets won't be public domain, I’m open to talking about copyright and license options if that’s a hang up. You will be compensated for your work, lets talk your rates for the project. I’m shooting to have this board game in a publishers hands (or if worse comes to worse self publish) by years end. Details below.
Game summary:
Save Our Species is a 1v1 space war sim where players battle with spaceships using hex based combat to determine which Species will survive extinction.
Premise:
The last of the Drozaro are floating around on their only remaining mothership, while deathly low on supplies they discover a planet bountiful in resources, enough for them to survive many decades but there’s one problem, planet Pomona is the last inhabited planet of the Terrans. To survive, the Dorzaro have 10 turns to wipe out the population on the planet before all of their life support systems fail, the terrains must survive this fight.
Play time: 90-140 min
Art assets needed:
2 Scout ships
2 Warbird (medium) ships
6 Heavy ships
4 Wormholes
4 Misiles (2 straight, 2 guided)
1 Planetary shield booster

A really good place to look is http://game-icons.net/
Oh, you said not in the public domain. Still, check out those guys, the quality is amazing. I think people download and adapt them, and give appropriate credit.
Great link! I'll definitely use those in prototyping a card combat game I'm also working on. For SOS I'm looking for more complex assets than those. They could very much be modified 3d assets with a shader on them though as long as the style is very close to what I have. I'll send more art for references if someone is interested in working on the project.
I could do the work in 3d and render in 2d for prof of concept. Then the work could be printed and applied to chits.
Or you could print them at any thingy\3d printing web sight or if you can find someone with a 3d printer.
pm. me if this is something your interested in
or you could find someone that can do the same with lower details (I'm more of a high detailed 3d sculptor using concept images as refrence) and you could probably find medium to low poly work fairly easy just about anywhere. I could still do the work at this level
Just an idea or my 2cents worth.
