The black planet type is a hypthetical graphite rich space body. It is assumed that those have a pure diamond core, but we don't have any of these in our system which is rich in silicates rather.

The download has an 8 bit alpha channel, but the planets are best used on black background.

Very nice work!

I was wondering if you wouldn't have a really cloudy/windy planet image laying around there (to illustrate the Air Plane on a RPG campaign of mine :)

I've used one of the brown planets here.
