Hi,

I recently released my game on various websites to play. I've also uploaded all the art for the game on OGA here:

You can play the game at the below site:

Hope you enjoy it! Cheers.

-The art is great.

-Some of the sound is okay, some of it makes my ears bleed. Specifically, the music and the typing sound in the intro are terrible.

-I wasn't able to find any save points. If there aren't any save points, that's a definate flaw and it should be rectified. If there are save points, I think they need to be a bit more frequent so the player doesn't become frustrated over lost progress.

-Platforming mechanics seem very solid to me, flying around with the jetpack is fluid and satisfying.

Thanks for the feedback!

I have all the sound pretty much level but some are more abrasive than others, thats just the Spectrum. I could lower those sounds in particular but it's easier for the user to lower their sound or turn it off in-game.

I didn't add save points because the game is only 15-30mins long, and once you learn the controls and don't rush it's not overly difficult.

Nice work making the game look and feel like a Speccy title without actually making it for the Speccy (like I did with a couple of mine). Even the responsiveness feels appropriate for the platform, if not so much for a modern game. But... only one life, especially for such a punishing game? That's a bit tight.

It's not that difficult really. You can get hit 3 times, plus theres 4 or 5 hearts you can pick up too, so you can take 7 or 8 hits in total before dying. There are no unpredictable/unfair hits either, so if the player takes 8 or more hits then they're either rushing or not good enough to complete it yet.

After lots of good feedback I've uploaded version 1.1 of Prime Mover, with the below changes:

v1.1 changes:
- added keys Z and B as alternative to Spacebar.
- added checkpoints at unlocked doors and key points, continue can be used 3 times.
- small changes to some enemies.

It's available at the same sites:

Hope you enjoy it! Cheers.
