A cat-like character. Trying to develop a new art style (for pixelart) that ain't quite as crappy as the one I've used before.
Animations for walking, jumping, shooting, swiping, and death.

I would correct the proportions though.
The legs look unnatural big and a cat tail is much more thin.
Also in some frames its hard to recognize what he is doing because the pixels merge. Did you try to add some outline to the sprite? That could help to solve the issue.
Well thanks for your comment. It's funny however, that all of your suggestions go.....kinda against what i actually intended for this art style. One of the things I absolutely did NOT want were stark, contrasting outlines. I can absolutely see how that would be valid too, but it's not really what I want to do with the game in which I'm using this character. Realistic proportions were neither really my goal, i actually wanted the character to feel kinda "furry-ish". But they were good considerations nonetheless, and I always welcome constructive criticism. Seeya around ^^
