Account Approvals
We have recently resolved a bug where some accounts were not showing up in the approval queue. This mostly affected people who changed their profile details, and we believe we have now resolved the issue for most people. If you have been waiting a long time for approval please let us know in the comments so our admins can look into it for you.
Thanks for your time.

You should tell people about the shiny new title-search system and feature row too :3
Anyway, really cool to see reports on the actual changes. It may seem awkward to make these posts, but for us end-users it is really nice to hear from you guys once in a while :)
Hi! I changed my profile and am waiting for approval since days or weeks.
You have been approved in the latest round of approvals
Thanks, but... I just activated notifications for comments in my settings and now my (not even changed) URL has to be approved again, even though the setting had nothing to do with it.
May you re-think your strategy here? Why not remove this control mechanism and let people link to whatever they want? You're making yourself unnecessary work in my opinion and, hm... I think that letting people wait for days and weeks for a simple URL doesn't seem to make much sense anyway because people can write URLs everywhere else and usually they just write them down on the pages of their assets and i'm sure they are the most viewed pages besides the main page. :)
Perhaps, but spammer URLs everywhere else are easy to catch. Spammer URLs in the profile are less apparent. Spammers also tend not to contribute asssets, so any asset pages with spammy URLs on them get flagged pretty quickly. I can't speak to why altering your notification settings would reset your approval status; I'll let p0ss answer that one if he feels like it.
I suspect it is a simple mechanism that is not granular enough to detect specific aspects of profile changes. In which case, the only way to detect a spammer trying to change from a legit URL to a spammy URL once their account is approved is to default-unapprove the account whenever any profile change occurs. Definitely could use improvement, but at the moment it's a limitation of the framework, so it requires more than just a setting change to fix it, unfortunately.
Also, Account re-re-approved. :)
P.S. Don't wait days. message me right away or post like you did above immediately if you need account re-approval. Until this part is improved, there is no way for me to know your account has been unapproved. You'll just wait forever if you don't let me know. It won't bother me. :)
Are we not allowed to submit other artists' artwork on their behalf anymore?
Or is it a bug?

i'm still waiting for approval too
@Mold: I haven't heard anything about restricting art submittd on the artists behalf. Everyone's allowed to do that still. It is a known bug, but it seems to be considered lower priority and high effort to fix. I'd advise making the author clearly known in the attribution instructions and, when possible, add the author as a collaborator.
You've also got a problem with the site with the Rich Text Mode being disabled in the message forums, so the only way I can write a message is to have to turn rich text mode off because its not working.
Hi, I am also waiting for approval for a very long time now ;) Thank you!
@mbarde: I usually take notice if accounts that make comments, download art, or post on the forum. I must have assumed your account was abandoned since your participation only started today.
