Rights for removed content

I have been making a game for the past few months, and I am using fireball artwork from this site. I intend on using this art for commercial use. Recently I realized the artwork page no longer gives me "permission" to access. The page showed no copyright notice other than crediting the artist. Have I now lost all rights to use this artwork in my game?
The link to the old page is : http://opengameart.org/content/simple-fireball
HELP APPRECIATED :)
not sure here, maybe a confliction of license was found and it was removed, or the owner has changed the name? if you remember the artist try looking through his submitted art, or collection.
sorry cant be more help, if you have a copy of the license when you started using the art you may be ok, but not 100% sure, someone else may need to jump on this thred.

I don't know why deletion was requested for this item.
While we will not continue hosting art against an artist's wishes, the licenses themselves are irrevocable. I see no evidence that the art was mistakenly or fradulently licensed so you should be in the clear legally. You might want to contact the artist for clarification but on a strictly legal level it shouldn't be a problem.
The artist made the final revision on that record, so I don't think it was an admin action.
Redshrike's right, the license at the time you downloaded is the one that applies. That's CC0 (Public Domain), so you can continue using the art with no issues.
If you did want to be sure, you could contact that artist and see why they took the art down. Maybe if they know people are using it, they'll put it back up.
Thanks everyone for the feedback! Unfortunatly I can't remember the artists name. Is there any way find his name??
Artist name is Sogomn
