Character Sprite Designer Needed! -Job Taken-

Sorry, the artist has been chosen! Thankyou to everyone who took part.
By the way, feedback and tips from people who have made games before or have done art is always welcome :)
"The copyright for the artwork will belong to me."
This clashes with the author rights in some countries. E.g. if I make art for you, I cannot transfer the copyright to you - my local law says, author rights, including copy rights stay with me whatever happens.
I can only grant usage rights for my artwork. This can include the rights for unlimited further publication, modification or anything. And that's probaly what you need.
The only right that I cannot hand away is the claim of authorship (e.g. make it yours). Authorship will always be mine. So I can't give you the copyright.
I just wanted to let you know, that legal stuff differs from country to country, and your request, if taken by word, will make it impossible for artists from my country to work for you under the terms you requested.
Having said that, I can't make characters and animations, so it's probably irrelevant. But if you want to hire people from other countries, you must be aware that they re bound to their local laws.
Edit: Yes, I know that in the USA one can transfer copyright, and that it's not unusual there to actually do so. I just wanted to say, it's not this way in all countries.
Thankyou for making me aware of this! I will edit the main post
You're welcome. I might be able to help you with your theme park project. I should have some isometric houses and roads somewhere ...
The road is here: http://opengameart.org/content/isometric-city-road-64-pixel-raster but the slopes are too steep for your project.
A railroad track: http://opengameart.org/content/railroad-track
I'll dig into my archives and see where the houses are ...
They're really good sprites, however, Theme Park God is something I'm going to leave alone for a while (it's only an experiment project, and I believe it's not likely to get more views beyond what it has so it's too late to update it). I mean if you wanted to do it as a free hobby you could do the sprites for it, but I'm not funding any development for it right now. Sorry
Check your PM ;)
