Briswak MMORPG (Test Server Online)
Greetings,
I am creating a interesting MMORPG using a neat game engine I found while surfing the net. Feel free to check it out.
I am a hobbiest game developer and blender/fragmotion artist with outstanding idea's and dedication. I could use some help. Also interested in helping out you all aswell. I am animating the Night Demon model with blender 2.50+ and would be more then willing to submit the animation for free. My thanks to OGA.ORG for the use of some of these models I found here. Most humbly, this hobbiest gamer and artist.
I have recently done quite a bit to the engine. Some things have never been done before. Soon to add new char animations, and Zepplin, A flying boat as a second means to fast transport (you can mark a spot and instantly teleport to it along with your party).
I added Ground Icon animation to 60% ground models as a test with the intention of adding animations to all ground icons. And look forward to adding many of oga.org's artwork to the system. I have recently designed a perpetual energy generator designed in real life and look forward to submiting it to the us patent office. Although I conclude my generator to be a 1 phase. And the production model is 2 phase using propulsion and repulsion. While mine if I can patent it use's a different system. For about 2000 bucks ill be able to power my house for like 20 years for free,
So while I build my prototype I am studying animation in fragmotion. (note when I was 13 I blueprinted the famous railway megnetic control system along with about 100 sword blue prints in a 0.002 of a inch format (4 years before it was patented in my exact same format from some newbs in germany). I then later became a expert fabricator, machinist and bladesmith.
Then my mom through the box away when I was at army basic training studying to become a fined tuned metal worker and machinist. That was about 3 years before the magnetic railway system was patented. I was 13.... Man I wish I knew about patents back then. Even so I have a new Perpetual Energy Generator I am submitting to the patent office. If this works ill be a creator of a perpetual motion machine and enter world wide history. My engine is stable on all aspects and compatable for speed above a lathes (It can run a space staton for 40 years for less then 2000 dollers).
I am very excited about it and even if I can't patent it I will have free power forever with this invention. And since nobody can tell me I cant make it. I am free to create any invention I want even if the technology is patented. As patent only apply to production, any private inventions made can be used for anything. The funny part is at like age 14, I thought about this while playing a game with some kind of magic I pushed towards a Metal block or something. I was like hey we can make force from nothing using natural energy ect... Back then I could of made a toy and showed it to a patent office... Can you say richer then bill gates.
Anyway this is off base. The concept is though my game will pwn for the simple reason I can do anything imaginable with anything. I will make it happen! This game will continue to evolve and expand.
P.S. Server is Dedicated for testing purpose. Updates are coming weeky if not daily.

my models are .blend - this night demon model is 2.50+ so I cant use it, but I love you all so wammie this pimp shizzle when I get her done!
So if you need a animation for this post it. Also animating the featured mage. I can actually use that one so ill make it happen. And since my files are free. You help me I help you, help gets help. World goes round and round! hehe

I have found out in the past 8 hours texturing is simple since you can push a button that compacts all texture into 1 and remaps your model to fit it. This is told almost nowhere hehe. I am now exploring texturing and look forward to texturing the Haunted House (Displayed on OGA.ORG), Wish me luck. I will be posting the textured model in due time.

:) I'm pretty much putting 75% of my time into this project. Thri-kreen model will be added next update. Also the tools and handcart models. Just going to keep trucking away on it.

Yup it's a functioning game in all aspects but the enviroment im creating will be using allot of new art. I got lots of sounds and will be adding more soon.

Could you elaborate on that texturing function you found?
Sure it's in blender, its a image option. Enter the UVImage editor in blender and assign textures. Any amount you want. Then in your 3d window select the model. You then go into the UVimage editor again and click on image, go up in the drop menu and click condsolidate images. It's a python script in blender. It crams all the textures into 1 image and remaps the entire model to fit all by itself.

:D Thats the first gif I ever made, I am planning to work on a new gif but for now I don't have anything to replace it with. Anyone wants to help with that feel free too. But it better look decent. :) Right now im going through and adding scenery and particle effects. Might update the test server soon got allot done so far.

Cool text is used in the image already hence the flame set words. Webpage concept will be a large demon holding the entire page as the background. Hopefully this will meet the requirements of the visually astetic. Night Demon Model from 2.50+ will be mapped to the background of the page. Thanks for asking me to work on it. When you did I thought of what I could make and use for the new image.
There is a large amount of OGA.ORG models I cannot add to my project that I have tried. I am using blender 2.49b and exporting to .x format, I am having some problems with assigned textures not being active as a meterial I believe.
To understand what I mean compare: Netted Jar model+texture=perfect - Zepplin model(texture settings diff then netted jar). And another type is (Dims'abretrarium) looks like they just made square and put a image to always face cam, I saw a sq with large black corners around his texture, I was depressed after that since I liked them but they where made from square models not even the shape of the model previewed. If you need any Lua, or you decide to use Lua as a base for menu systems and whatever else, give me a shout! :D
Exporting 3D models is not an easy task, because exporters only support feature X, while modelers prefer to achieve the same goal by using features Y and Z. It's always a hassle and it never worked right away for me either, as soon as textures, bones and animations came into play. I guess the ones that work right away are the ones that the creator has himself exported and used in a game.
Ah ya I just made a slot for a treasure chest, now I need a rigged animated chest, and just when my middle mouse button broke :/ eep lol. Also the test server got a lil update. Was tinkering last night and I fell asleep if anyone was trying to get on lol.
p.s. I made the chest myself since I found time. Then released it to OGA.ORG as a rigged/animated .blend, but unfortunatly I cannot use blender made .x animations since there not compatable with the animated compiler. The animations I need are .ugh or Fragmotion exported to .x with merged animations. Fragmotion animations when exporting them to .x need to be exported with the Write all frames option selected. Make 2 animations with 1 set as closed and another animation that is open.

The banner is incomplete, and thanks for the compliment I made it myself. The very top of the banner will hold THE KING OF DEMONS logo eventually when I figure out what type of letters I actually want to use and what graphic to give them. About the eyes I am waiting till I get more creatures in the image before turning it to a gif or flash type. As for the name TKOD TKODOnline or TKODO is fine with me. I thought of it as being pronounced as "Ta", "KODO". Thanks for the feedback.
