Help installing flare v0.19

Hello,
I have really been enjoying flare v0.18. You guys are awesome!
Now if possible I'd like to try adding/ installing v0.19
I have down loaded the tar.gz file and extracted it. I looked at the 'read me' file and am having issues following the instructions lol...
Is there a way to install v0.19 with the command terminal? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Did you look at the "INSTALL.engine" file? That one provides instructions for installing dependencies / building from source.
You might also want to look at the updated version of that document, which details how to build the latest development version.
I did take a look at the install file.
Do I have to build this thing just to play it?
I'm a total newB, please excuse my ignorance!

Well, there are packages for 0.19 available on Ubuntu 15.04. So you could try installing those.
Otherwise, yes, you'll need to compile from source.
Build instructions are on the github projects. Follow them line by line and don't be scared - it should work without problems. If you should get any error messages, post them here.
