[Partially fixed] Badly tagged commisions

First of all, I'm not really sure if this is a duplicate, or if it is in the right forum at all... but still....
Many new commisions are badly tagged. Usually it is just one large tag with spaces instead of commas (sorry, couldn't find an example right now), or a few "hashtags", both of which are not really the 'usual' way of things.
My questions is what should we (normal users) do in those cases?
This is a good point, and it's definitely been a somewhat persistent issue (though overshadowed by search not really working in the first place for a while). Not that I have a solution for it :(
Probably just leave a comment (or send a PM).
Personally I find the tags sortof useless, since their usefulness is entirely limited to what the author thought to put in there. Looking for words in the title/description is more useful, I find. Sadly the old search is rather stupid in this regard... the solr search should fix this when it's back up.
There's no good automated solution to tagging issues, although I can add some checking to make sure people don't use hashtags.
Back in the "olden days" we used to have a hierarchical system of pre-made tags, but things got miscategorized all the time, even when there were categories that were clearly more appropriate, and it was an even bigger mess than we have right now.
It might be worthwhile to look into defining tag hierarchies and synonyms, but at the time of this post, there are 11,649 tags, so it's not particularly realistic at the moment to go through them manually.
Okay, so I made a couple of changes to tagging.
Hopefully these will help keep tags at least a little cleaner going forward, but realistically, there's a lot of manual work that will have to be done to make tags not suck.
i got some issues with tagging again, this time i used spaces

it is now one big tag. it is also missing the info of the textures in this pack.
EDIT: here the tags how i entered into the field when submitting
tag1 tag2 tag3
when i tried to edit them
it looks like this:
"tag1, tag2, tag3"
it does nothing when i click on save, i don't know why.
