Requesting 2D Sprites for Android Game
Monday, August 10, 2015 - 08:27
I have finished most of the development for an online multiplayer game for Android, except for the artwork and publishing. I have a background, but need graphics for the in-game objects. The in-game objects need to have a transparent background and if they move then they need to be rotatable (top-down). It is sufficient to have 2-4 frames for an animation. I want the tone to be lighthearted fantasy, but not too childish or dark. The gameplay can be described as being between an rts card game and competitive tower defense. I have listed the items that I need below and provided screenshots of what the game currently looks like with demo graphics.
For in-game objects, the units should either 32x32 and the items I need are:
- Archer (elf preferred, but not required): Needs moving and attacking animations.
- Arrow that the archer shoots
- Tree: Doesn't move.
- Upgraded Tree: Needs moving and attacking animations.
- Spider: Needs moving and attacking animations.
- Wolf: Needs moving and attacking animations.
- Chicken: Needs moving and attacking animations.
- Egg: Needs hatching animation.
- Strong Melee Unit (dwarf, woodsman, or knight): Needs moving and attacking animation.
- Tower: It should match the same faction as the Strong Melee Unit.
- Arrow that the tower shoots.
- Fireball: It can either be a single frame or an animation.
- Mushroom Mage (or gnome): This is optional. The current sprite I have is free to use and I like it, but if you can provide a better version, then it needs a still frame and a casting animation.
- Mushroom: Need two types/colors
- Node type structure: This will be the structure that each side is trying to defend.
