Hi,

Thanks for your uploads. Im using them to learn HTML5 game design.

This is probably a really stupid question, but i've tried everything to set the background to transparent on this particluar png and nothing seems to work. Even when the background is clearly transparent in GIMP, it renders as a white background in image preview, and magenta in-game!

Im proabably making some kind of really obvious mistake, but I was wondering if you had any ideas, or if you could upload again with a transparent background that works in Phaser HTML5.

Many Thanks.

Hey there :)

first of all thank you for using my assets ;) I am not really sure what your problem is caused by. Maybe you could try this upload.

It would be nice to see some of your progress :)

Have a good time.

Hi, thanks for your quick reply.

Unfortunately Still no luck. I'm using this asset, which works, so I really don't know what's going on.

I did notice that the colour mode of your asset is 'indexed', rather than 'rgb' (which some GIMP tutorials recommend).

Don't worry about it - I'm gonna play-around a bit more in GIMP and see if I can come up with anything.

Here's a screenshot of my game so far:

Could you please make a slashing animation of this?

You need to add a transparency layer to stop that from happening -- search the top menu in Gimp and you'll find it.
