The king is too “thin”, the queen is hard to distinguish from a bishop (also too “thin”).

Thank you for the feedback!

The thin-ness may be due to the set I was using as a reference, a set I've had since childhood that is in places (like king and queen stems), a bit spindly.

With chess pieces, there is always a progression of height from tallest to shortest:

king, queen, bishop, knight, rook, pawn.  Other than that, looks great.
