I have a sound request if anyone would like to help out. If not, I understand.

EDIT: Just need a menu loop. See comment with screen shot.

I made this for you:

Hopefully it's something like what you're wanting.

It was a bit hard trying to imagine what you wanted exactly, so I winged the sounds a bit.

Wow thanks for the taking the time! Much respect, but doesn't seem to fit.

I should probably get some screenshots once it's more polished. It's hard to fit something audibly without any visuals. My fault. The sounds are great themselves though, and I really like the loop. Ambient and mysterious.

I really appreciate the effort. I'm sure others will love them as well. I'll use them for now, but I'll be keeping my ears open.

Oh yeah, no problem!

As mentioned, I'm sure someone out there might put them to use!

Hey,

Just thought I'd say I had previously made a geometry wars'esque music piece. I feel like it might be a little too ~overwhelming~ by your description but you might find it interesting:

And another loop i've done though I guess this one is too slow!

Good luck!

So I think I changed my mind on the music. I think I want to go more this route.

http://youtu.be/7URuKsx0Pc4?t=10s

It's lighthearted but not silly like angry birds. Up tempo but not too fast or slow. It has a competative tone and tempo to it. Maybe some kind of ice hockey themed percussion could be added to it? I.e. hockey stick smacks, bleacher stomps/claps. (Not sure if that would sound good.)

EDIT: http://opengameart.org/art-search?keys=funkorama <- closest thing to what I'm looking for... but just not there? Maybe a little too funky for me. Also, whatever music I go with, it will be normal on the menu and while playing it will be quiet and muffled in the background.

Here's how my menu will look. The light burst rotates slowly.

Hey there! I have some ideas for you if you don't mind:

Here's something a bun fun and quirky:

http://opengameart.org/content/shake-and-bake

Maybe something more electronic?

http://opengameart.org/content/red-doors-v20

If not, there's actually way more music on my website here:
http://www.matthewpablo.com

I have everything from rock, orchestral, jazz, electronica and more! I'm sure there might be something that you can find on there that fits your game. When you do find something contact me via my website and I can help create a better version that works better in-game.

Let me know what you think!

Thanks!
Matthew
