[SUSPENDED(ish)] Games for Game Arts
Suspended due to lack of interest. If interest picks up I may reawaken. You may still request stuff, but I reserve the right not to respond if I can't be arsed.
I've got a bunch of gift keys for various games and bundles rotting away in various accounts but luckily no friends to give them to.
So if you make and submit some nice arts you may request something from the list below.
You'll only get something if I think you're deserving, so don't bother for insignificant, trashy or not-to-my-tastes submissions.
Should generally be GPL licensable (have a GPL license option (preferably GPL2 and later) or be CC0) but an exception may be made for something sufficiently impressive.
Whether you get what you ask for is totally up to my personal discrimination and changable whim. So don't have high expectations, just consider it a bonus.

nothing here yet is the best game
i can only aplaud your iniciative, just one question, are CC-BY and CC-BY-SA also admited? (since they are less restrictive than GPL, i think)
It should have a GPL license option. Need not be exclusively GPL licensed.

I will post the Blend soon.
Im bumping this post (it deserves it), and i wonder, is there a key for gnomoria inside all of those bundles?
Hmmm... Maybe a bit late, but... What would you consider enough in change of Half-Life for Steam?
You've done plenty to deserve that and more. Send me your e-mail via the contact form and feel free to ask for anything else you may want.
I want to get rid of this stuff. I'd thought it would be snapped up in a hurry?
EDIT:
Added a few more.

Man, it is so strange that this isn't getting immediately snapped up. The only reason I haven't asked for something is because I won't be able to make something new right now and it seems to be defeating the purpose if all the best stuff is snatched up by people who've already contributed.
You've got a plenty good enough track record. If you want something it's yours.

I did not ask also, because at the moment I did not plan to do submit anything and also not something GPL2 licensed.
Why does it need to be GPL2? Is there some demand or a project that needs it? Maybe I could throw in some little things, but "Make something" is always a little complicated, something specific would be easier.
A few games from you sound interesting.
GPL is the defacto software license in the Gnu/Linux world therefore anything submitted as GPL compatible will in turn be compatible with the a large portion of existing opensource games.
Also, I like hard copyleft.
You've submitted a few things under GPL compatible terms and plenty of solid stuff under other terms, so ask away.

I was just wondering, what will it take for me to get that copy of Civ IV off your hands?

Add GPLs as licensing options and provide source files for some works should do the trick.
