I made these sprites to give the coders a possiblity to make a game similar to Syndicate, Shadowrun (the Sega Genesis version) and GTA 1+2, or something completely different. :) Something that takes place in a dystopic future with an autoritarian regime of corporations and corrupt politicians.
Unfortunately I didn't have time left to animate the Cutiebots in the last preview, but they could probably be used for a Pokemon-style game.

link is broken...
I just removed the apostrophe and it works now. I wonder if the LPC entry is broken, too. Should I submit it again on the LPC site?
They are great! Very creative to take such approach for the LPC!
Sweet. I love the vibe I'm getting from this. Particularly the cars and robots look awesome.
This is some great work. I love it :).
I like them, its like syndicate meet mechwarrior in the pixel era. Also the cutebots are kind of "familiar". ;)
Oh yes Danimal I forgot to mention that Cutiebot 2 is partly based on your design and my cutification. :) http://opengameart.org/forumtopic/steampunk-miner-robot-wip
If anyone wants to use it please give credit to Danimal, too.
Cutiebot 3 is based on my Thunderbird mech: http://opengameart.org/content/thb-5j-thunderbird
no need for that, really, im just happy it gave you inspiritation, i hope to see a game out of this sprites
pure gold!
Thank you
Can you add LPC to the tags? Thanks.
So, you mean the setting would be like nowadays? XD
Hey, I downloaded the file and might be using it for a game. However, for the game I'm making it would be very helpful if the sprites could face in at least 8 directions (up, up-right, right, down-right, down, down-left, left, up-left). More might be too many, but 8 would cetainly work.
the last gold cutiebot looks like a stylized star wars 3-CPO.
@Deathsbreed: I'm probably not going to work on this set again (at least not anytime soon), so if you want to have something adjusted or improved, you have to do it yourself.
@Acorn: You're right, he looks kind of similar to C3PO (maybe I was subconsciously influenced), but I don't think he's similar enough to be afraid of a law suit. Otherwise you can just change the hue.
love them! I wish more LPC items were scifi :)
Stupid question: what is LPC?

May I Use This In A RPG Game I'm Making Commercially? I Will Credit Everyone Who Made These At The End & I'm Not Going To Use Your Characters Only Your Objects And Ground Tiles. Please Reply ASAP If You Allow Me To Use These In My Game Commercially (For Money)..

Yes, you can use these graphics in commercial games. You just have to credit me and derivatives of the graphics have to be licensed under CC-BY-SA 3.0.
May I use the "Skorpio's SciFi Sprite Pack" in an IOS app? It would be a commercial app, because of the ads and in app purchases.
How would you like to be credited? e.g. "Skorpio on OpenGameArt.Org" or would you like that your realname / other artist name is used?
Btw. Do you still have the XCF or PSD files for your designs?
Just go ahead and use them in your commercial games. I don't have a problem with that.
You can add my nickname to the credits.
Regarding the psd files, I still have them, but they are rather messy and I don't think they would be helpful. I don't intend to upload them.
I extended the street tiles
this reminds me so much of that 90s game infantry, but in 2D
The tablesare broken, the legs should be 1px thinner each, otherwise the middle peace can't loop properly. This can bee seen in the indoor preview at the table on the bottom right.
I included and fixed the table in my sci-fi set, but I changed the colors a bit: https://opengameart.org/content/lpc-goes-to-space
If somebody wants to use it with the original version, the colors must be changed back, otherwise the chairs won't fit.
