A set of Buddha statues in different materials/color combos (with varying success).  Made with Dawnbringer's 16-color palette.  Might be useful as loot or decorations in a low-res platformy-type game.

Very nicely drawn. I can really imagine these serving as background objects or something.

These are very nice. My only wish is they were 32x32 so they could be more detailed >.<

How about this? (CC0). I made some changes in comparison with MoikMellah's original, but it's still (almost) the same thing with (almost) the same proportions.

That looks pretty good too. I'm tempted to invent a reason to use that image somewhere just for kicks! Thank you!

Well, took a bit longer than usr_share, but here's my try: http://opengameart.org/content/buddha-statues-32x32 (I changed the palette, actually)

You're both quite kind to make 32x32 statues, thank you both very much!

I dunno, as great as 32x32 is, I find the low-resolution 16-bit era style graphics (16x16) endearing. One of my primary projects uses scaled up 16x16 tiles in an effort to take advantage of the retro look.

Please understand I do love 16-bit graphics, they are good for many things and are classic looking. The reason I want 32-bit is because my game uses that. I still love 16-bit!
