Things seem to draw wrong

On firefox 18.0.1 and 18.0.2-1 on archlinux, things draw wrong; the content like art shows below instead of next to the bars. Basically, it isnt rescale-proof, rescaling things to be pretty small fixes things. The two scales are in the screenshots attached.
I think it is probably pretty easy to fix by just using percentages instead of pixel counts. Personally i prefer tables for this, frankly they seem much easier to use, and they do the job.. For some reason people seem to want divs though.
Note that it might change the experience of mobile phone users. They may like not having the bar on the side; not having to scroll sideways or have the images turn smaller.

Can't confirm on 18.0.1 on arch linux 64bit.
Please test with clean firefox profile.
Had that, too, solved by increasing/decreasing the text size. It depends on screen resolution, if things do not fit side by site he puts them underneath.
Duion: please confirm that the problem still persists and give specs and platform of your browser.
Please also try with clear profile, to avoid clashing with plugins/installed styles.
WinXp, 1400x900, Mozilla Firefox, but also happens with chrome and other resolutions, it just depends on browser zoom.

Ah, I assumed rescale = resizing of window.
I can confirm breaking of layout when zooming (chromium Version 24.0.1312.57 (178923)) Noticed long ago, didn't feel that zooming is something websites try to support anyway.
Well, they should, html has percentage sizes on tables for a reason, and it aint very complicated. 'State of the art' is just not that great.. But i wont ask you to be the one to 'innovate'(i.e. not fuck up) on this. Perhaps you're using some library or 'framework'(ew) and cant easily change it.
Browsers too, i suppose, for instance, try get the firefox current url from the commandline. For all i know you have to fetch the window ID and fake key presses and take it from the copy-paste clip. It is a tricky thing to do but stuff like emacs can do it and for how long has firefox been in development now? In many respects we're in the software stone ages. No-one uses personal databases afaik, i dont see good ones.. All laptops have microphones but voice commands are though to install. People still dont get lisp. Be *able* to manipulate code as data, also in macros, d'oh.
Dont worry about my ranting though, i cant change much shit either. It is a good, and useful website.
