well it depend on the complexity of the models. However, the most simple model could be about $80-120 for one model, let alone 3. You should post up some references of the models that you want.

Please submit details as well. Like what is your project, what is your modelling needs (high/low poly, unwrapped/textured/rigged/animated), what model is needed etc..

I can model you three untextured cubes for $50. I might even throw in a fourth for no extra charge.

Alternatively I could model you three fully textured, rigged and animated curent-gen FPS-grade characters with an ~10K tri budget and 2K diffuse, specular, emit, displace and normal maps for $5000. I might even throw in a free cube for no extra charge.

Red warrior needs caffeine badly.

Also this part:

How do I get paid?

Once your models are approved we will send you the money via PayPal.

sounds like a hidden contest, what is not very attractive. Maybe just because you worded it briefly, but you should make clear how it isn't one.

There is no contest, we will simply tell you what we want fixed in the model if it's not up to par with what we wanted. We are NOT going to have multiple people do the same model. We currently have one person working on the model, we are awaiting to see if he finishes it before we close this thread.

Also for those wondering, the models we need are for the video game console we're developing code named pawbyte nextGen.

Sorry for the double-post. I made a slight typo. It is fixed now.

In case you think Surt is being sarcastic, he's really not.  You could probably find someone to do this for a bit under $5000, but it's not likely you'll find anyone who would take this order for under $2500.

Even then, you're not specifying what sort of models you're after, or the detail level.  Are you looking for un-textured, inorganic, low-poly static meshes (like chairs and tables and such)?  If so, you might find someone willing to sit down for an hour or two and whip up a few quick models for $50.  If you're looking for rigged character meshes, even if they're low poly, I don't think you're going to have a lot of luck finding anyone who will do it for $50.  Even ten times that would probably be stretching it.

You should also seriously consider telling people about your project.

You might be able to get something cheaper if you go to a place for royalty-free models, such as TurboSquid (only place I know because it's been around forever) - but then you're giving up on custom-made models and exclusive rights to use, obviously.

@theweirdn8: unless you give any details you will not be able to pull it off with that budget. Some might ask how it is possible with the details. Simple, if I like it and I am allowed to post it to OGA, I might accept it. Note that I am relatively new to blender and I have been working only on objects (ie. no chars or monsters).

Hey,

I'm really not sure how detailed can a box and video game controller be. I didn't want to go into too muich detail as the project may involve tons of NDA because it is for a next-generation console. The controller will consist of the controller, buttons, joysticks, etc. The console itself looks very similar to the Wii U and a standard desktop PC. Is that a long time gig?

Also, edited the thread. Should make total sense now...

What I want to know is how you plan to develop a next-gen console on a budget like that...

This project has been on hiatus for some time now. So fear not.
