First attempt to get an isometric sprite to walk + isometric tiles. C&C appreciated.

Hello. As part of my own project I am starting the making of a number of isometric sprites and tilesets. Today I got started on the sprites. The first sprite is now able to walk in one direction. It seems off somehow though, and I am looking for some tips on how to improve it. The image of the walk cycle is attached below.

First off though, some unveiling. This should show a bit of what I'm making.Below is a mockup map featuring some tiles, to be uploaded here when the tileset is more finished:

Also pictured is an older sprite I scrapped. See below for new male sprite.

Is the right arm and right leg forward at the same time? If so that's going to be the major problem. When we take a step forward with the right leg we swing our left arm forward.

I like the shadow behind the sprite.  It makes the character stand out amongst the tiles.

Man, that's a result of me not thinking. But nevertheless that should be quickly fixable.

At first: The head seems a bit off. A bit to the right should look better imo, maybe even 1px towards the bottom.

2nd: The torso is currently centered, 4px for each breast. Usually you should see more from the front one. 2/3 & 1/3 is a good ratio. So.-> 6px for the front, and 2px for the right breast. Maybe 5px/3px looks better at this resolution, I am not sure.

While changing that, I would suggest that the torso-mid should move to the right and the legs should stay where they are, this way he should look more natural (bent over a bit).
