Another mix by Tsorthan Grove and Vitalezzz with the following tracks:

lights    https://opengameart.org/content/lights    cc-by 4.0

iron fields https://opengameart.org/content/iron-fields    cc-by 4.0

low breeze loop        https://opengameart.org/content/low-breeze    cc-by 4.0

cosmic creature    https://opengameart.org/content/cosmic-creature    --cc0

Maybe a little bit crowded in some parts but I think the tracks combine and I had a lof fun mixing them, hope you have fun listening to it too.

I created two versions of the mix which only differs in the pitch: version 3 (lights_mix3,ogg) should be considered the final one and matches the original pitch of the track "lights" by Tsorthan Grove.

Version 2 has a slightly higher pitch, it sounds different but as the author pointed out, the sound quality can be slightly degraded because of this.

Choose any track you want and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did mixing it.

Update: The software used to mix the tracks was mixxx. I wish there is a way I can export my set of intro and out cues and set of loops so anyone can work over the work I did and build or create their own mixes based on that work, unfortunately there's no way to do that as far as I know so I uploaded a screenshot in which you can see many of those cues and loops as a reference.

To get the same setup based on the screenshot should not be hard if you have experience with the software. Maybe someone has better ideas or get inspired by them. I hope you find it useful.

Tsorthan Grove's picture

The concept is a nice idea however, because you've stretched the "Lights" track, it's degraded the quality.
If your interested I will re-render "Lights" to match the the intended scale/pitch so you are able to remake it without sacrificing quality.

Hi, sure feel free to change it the way you want. It is not my intention to degrade the quality but I can't keep the same scale and pitch when mixing so many tracks and they do not all match the pitch and bpm (in this case I think all matched the bpm but not the pitch). Feel free to do the changes you want and I'll be glad to remix it again and share it if you want.

Thanks for the sharing such great tracks!

Hi Tsorthan Grove, I've submitted the mix with the same pitch as the original track "lights". I think this solves the issue you mentioned, if you are not happy with the results or know how to improve it feel free to send me any audio with the track rendered at your desired pitch and I'll be glad to mix it.
