I was just watching Splatter Cat gaming on youtube play a game with similar graphics. I like your art style
I think it is a very attractive design. It makes you want to play a game with these graphics. How I would love to be able to draw like this.
These look really good, but I'm having a bit of trouble getting a handle on the perspective in the preview, and which areas are walls/floors?
Here, knocked this (CC0) up to show how it was designed. It's a 100/100 distorted oblique perspective. Doubt that I would try to use this exact scheme again, the cut-aways are too troublesome.
Ah, thanks! I see now. I think its the black empty square (and the square above it) in the preview that's causing my confusion.
Those are pits.
That is, holes in the floor, leading to an unspecified black void.
