Fellow Game- and Software-Devs, did you ever want to have a tangible physical version for your projects, but didn't want to spend the time making all the measurements fit your demands? You're in Luck, with this GIMP Template (.xcf format, minimum GIMP 2.0+) with handy instructions, you can easily design the front, back and spine of a slim case DVD cover, and even have a colored backside in case of transparent boxes.

Picture this: sleek, professional-looking DVD covers that you design and print right from the comfort of your own home. With this template, you're in control – from the eye-catching artwork to the title and essential details, it's all up to you!

Take a look at the cool Covers I made in the Preview.

So, whether you're dropping a fresh new game or giving an old favorite a snazzy makeover, my template has got you covered (literally!).

It currently has two spine colors you can select from, blue for Itch.io Games and Grey for Steam, but with a few clicks you can recolour them to your demands too. For Trademark Reasons, these Icons are not included in the template, and have to be downloaded from their respective trademark owners.

Very cool!

I wonder, wouldn't the platform icon be considered fair use in this context?

I've asked on the OGA Discord ahead, and I've been advised to not to, since I'm licensing the template here as CC-0. Couldn't find much info on the Itch-Logo, but better be safe than sorry :)

Fair use is not allowed in free culture because while it will probably be considered fair use as it stands when posted, once someone does things with it (which is the point of free culture), such as expand it or start selling it, it will stop being fair use.
