Idle City Sim 2051 is a free html5 isometric city building game.

It was made over the course of a years time.

It works in both pc and mobile. You can play it directly here; IdleCitySim2051

I would love any feedback, especially those playing it on mobile or a tablet, thank you for playing.

This game was made using the wonderful 'pixel city' art on opengameart by pixel32.

Iit's nice, but on my mobile the game controls are a bit hard.

Also I have difficulties to click the shovel because my mobile (or the Android OS) insists on showing a status message on the bottom of the screen, hiding parts of the game.

And I don't understand the button beside the shovel. And how to erase a tile. (The button I mentioned does NOT  clear a tile.)

It would be useful to have some visual effect when I harvest a metal or other raw ressources

Sorry for the late reply, thank you for this feedback PeterX!
I've since updated the game to version 2.7, and I've tried to address these issues. Part of the problem was that the game stretched too much, and other javascript related quirks. I hope to port this to a native android version, thank you again for your valuable feedback!

Hello Tadster, your game is nice, it would be nice if you release it under MIT license like the lib that you made and use for the game.

Also I think that you should name your game just "Idle City", because "Sim City" is a trademark.

Thank you for this game, and thank you for posting here.

I think the name Idle City Sim is fine. "City Sim" =/= "Sim City". Just like "SoftMicroMuffins" doesn't infringe on the "MicroSoft" trademark.

In the French law it would not be an infringement if it is 2 companies doing 2 things completely different, or 2 products completely different.

But here Sim City and City Sim are 2 similar games: a city building game.

The owner of the trademark of Sim City will not attack, because the game here is not sold, and will probably not become famous.

See examples here:

https://corsearch.com/content-library/blog/nine-nasty-trademark-infringe...

See the examples: Freddocino similar than Frappucino, and 3N similar than 3M.

It's very obvious that City Sim, is similar than Sim City

On the page below, they explain that Apple Inc, and Apple Corps, are not infringe because one is in the computer area, and the other one in the music area (so it seems that it's similar than in France)
