This is a fire animation as used in my game, Nyrthos (www.nyrthos.com).
It was quite a pain to create a good-looking and looping one, and almost every game out there needs fire, so I figured this might be a nice addition to OGA.
It is (40 frames) long, transparent and looks very good even when scaled up/down.
The ZIP file contains the animation in .png layers (transparent background).
Enjoy!

The animation is completely free to use in whatevere way or project you desire, be it a game, a hi-end visualisation of a camel poo, or whatever awesome you might think of.

This looks way better then my 5 frame fire animation I made to give game developers something to use. Very nice license too. I'm going to re-size this down and see if I can get it to work in a 32X64 and add some visable firewood underneath.

I love this! In my game, when a character walks over a fire, he gets set on fire and this effect follow him around on his feet. It looks like his pants are burning.
