Hey guys, this is my first post here. I am a programmer by nature, but I have enjoyed dabbling in aseprite occasionally. Here are some textures I made but never ended up using in my minecraft mods.

You can download a spritesheet, or alternatively download individual textures.

Nice! However, I don't believe it is legal to put 'Minecraft' in your title. Could you change it to something else?

Hmm...

As an X-like or inspired by descriptor, I'm pretty sure it's ok. I mean there's a lot of games that call themselves Rouge-likes.

Well, if you saw 'Minecraft Inspired Textures' in the credits of a non Minecraft game, that probably would cause problems.

It would only be a problem if a reasonable person would mistake them for existing official minecraft IP. These don't appear to be copied in any way from mojang property nor are they close enough to cause brand confusion.

Generally, I try to leave it be unless it is 'too close for comfort', such as nearly identical assets (which these are not) or it is implying endorsement, like "CC0 Minecraft textures" (which these are not).

This is why you'll find "Zelda-Like" titles all over the site, but no "Zelda".

So a submission like this would be a problem?

Hey, I did consider this, but I thought it was fine to put "Minecraft Inspired" in the title because I've seen other art on this platform that has it in the name aswell.
Also for clarification, none of the textures were directly copied from Minecraft if you were wondering! I just pulled up some textures for reference but everything was drawn by me, not traced.

Okay, then you should be fine.

@Umplix: Yes that other submission would be a problem. Thank you for pointing that out.
