Well, I decided to play with it last night, and I've got it running with node-webkit. Saving doesn't work, and there's no way to quit or restart, but these are solvable issues. It's also kind of big, but I think I can make it smaller.
If you're still following this, I'm not sure. It is possible to build HTML5 into a packaged app with some of the frameworks that are out there, but I've never done it.
You could run the Android version in some kind of emulator, but this is terribly obtuse and I don't see the point of doing it.
You can also download the game and play it locally in your browser by simply opening the HTML file, but this doesn't seem like what you're looking for.
There's a real lack of truly free resources in the Doom community. A lot of this site's resources are usable with little modification, so I'm working on packaging some of it and adding some of my own. Right now it's mostly textures but there are some effects and objects I've earmarked for conversion. It's just that I'm pretty busy with other stuff so this kind of gets pushed to the bottom of the priority list.
64x64 is the same size as a Doom flat, so I've made these into a Doom ready pack. It's available in my thread over in the ZDoom forums, but if anyone is interested I can post it here as well.
Perhaps not me personally, but someone will. I've seen some of your work on the ZDoom forums and if you released it under a libre license it could be useful to a lot of people.
I think BSD is more equivalent to CC-BY, or even CC-BY-SA, but BSD allows mixing of licenses whereas CC-BY-SA is iffy on that. CC0 (Public Domain) would be nice, but CC-BY 3.0 would be acceptable too in my opinion. CC-BY-SA can cause issues with license compatibility and some people avoid it for that reason.
My suggestion is to get permission and relicense as much as you can, even if it's not the whole project, and post it here. Freedoom is big, and even a relatively small portion could be quite useful to a lot of people.

This is a Windows build, but node-webkit is cross platform.

This guy figured out how to build Heroine Dusk as a Metro app, and it should be the same for Ascension: Adventure, but it's only useful if you're running Windows 8.

Any chance we could get a pure piano version of this?
Is there a reason you didn't use a transparent background?
Very nice. I might use this for a Doom level; it seems like a good fit.

Were you able to get any of the assets relicensed?
