Desurium Art Request (FOSS Desura)

Hello!
Have you seen Desura? You should it's really nice. It's kind of like Steam, but for Linux too. Oh, and recently free software.
Due to legal reasons though, to be truly free software it needs to have non-Desura branding. Kind of like the Google Chrome/Chromium thing.
I don't really have anything to offer, but it'd be nice if somebody would spare some of their time to help out with this.
As for what's needed.. Pretty much just a logo. Currently the Desura branding is blue, so it'd be nice for the logo to go with that to avoid loads of CSS changes (the software uses an embedded browser.) It'd be really nice for it to be a vector and transparent. I'll try and take care of actually putting it in to the software.

Hi, here is a proposal for the logo. The png contains the actual logo, while the gif explains the idea behind the logo. I wasn't able to attach the svg source file, but I'll upload it to OGA if you are happy with the logo.
Hello, for some reason I can't log in again (newbie mistake? MyOpenID doesn't seem to work right now), but I'd like to say that I love the idea. I don't really think I've seen a logo that's been able to fit that many letters in to it.
But it'd be better if it were all one shape. In particular, the circle being the dot in the I, and the 'E' sticking out. I'm also a tiny bit wary about the 'crevice' in the middle, but I think that's only really my own taste.
However, another representation would be them being mountains, and the dot being the run. Maybe add a circle around it to kind of contain it as a landscape? I'm not sure what the 'E' would be.

Hey guys, thanks for your help. Currently I think it's boiled down to a mascot, which you can at https://github.com/lodle/Desurium/issues/72 .
I'm afraid I don't have any vector drawing software so these logos are just done in photoshop but if you like the concept then I can resize them for you and make some changes if needs be

Just as in the chrome-chromium case, I would suggest to have a very similar logo.
What kind of license do you want for the logo design?
